Anonymous: what did you dislike about crash?
Just to make sure we are talking about the same crash, I am referring to the 2004 film and not the David Cronenberg film of the same name. Anyways, its not a bad movie by any means, but it was SUPER predictable. And they really shoved the prejudice message down your throat the entire time. THE ENTIRE time. Just watch it with that in mind and its like “Oh wow… ok.”
Also it beat out two FAR better films in the 2006 Academy Awards for best picture, Capote and Munich. I will never understand that, but it probably had something to do with the message of the film and the cast/crew/producers involved. Oscar politics are lame.
